Flip Phone?

While the mid 1990's had a new craze, the 'flip phone', there was an even earlier incarnation of it, and it was during the early 1990's

This is the phone that most people think to be the first 'flip phone' (The Motorolla Startac)


But this, the mova tz-804 was the first phone to feature the full flip display in January 1991, 5 years earlier!

Though it looks more 'BOXY' then the 1996 clamshell look, it does resemble phones that are coming out this year, moor so then the Startac, for example. The new Blackberry Perl flip 8220

As you can see, unlike the Startac, phones have become more boxy, and have there screens mounted on the top of the flip, instead of below.
